More About Our Wooden Slatwall Shelves:
Our Slatwall shelves also have the finish colour on both sides so if you are using your shelves on a high level people will not see an ugly un-finished bottom as it will be the same colour as the top face of the shelf.
We apply matching edging to the sides of the shelf. Some manufactures of Slatwall shelves use a cheap and low quality ‘iron on’ edging. If you don’t know what this is, it is easily spotted as the edges will be covered by a very thin piece that is easily damaged or pulled away from the shelf.
We use a much better 2mm thick PVC edging that is solidly glued on using an industrial edge banding machine.
Installation:
Our wooden shelves for slatwall come included with one pair of shelf brackets per shelf. The brackets have holes to allow you screw the shelves to the them, this is optional but we suggest that you should do this, especially if you are using shelves at a high level.
The shelf with the brackets attached simply fits in to the slots on your slatwall panels.
Delivery
Slatwall Wooden Shelves are another of our big and quite heavy items, they are manufactured the high quality material so depending on which size of shelf you need they could weigh up to 20kg each.
Because of this we generally delivery our shelves on a pallet, if you have only ordered a couple of shelves we may deliver to you you by parcel carrier.
Parcel Carrier Delivery.
- For small amounts of shelves we may deliver to you by parcel carrier
- The driver will deliver the shelves to you door
- Your shelves will be packaged with bubble-wrap, tape and cardboard
- Please check all items before signing for the delivery. If you sign for everything as ‘ok’ we will be unable to claim for replacements should you have damages.
Pallet Delivery Information:
- You will need something to cut the metal banding with that secures your Shelves to the pallet, good strong pliers or wire cutters will do.
- The delivery driver is not our employee and they are only insured to get the delivery to you, they cannot help you unload
- Due to the size and weight of some shelves, please make sure you have some people around to help you unload, unloading really isn’t a one person job
- Be careful how you handle your shelves and how you store them, sliding them across each other and standing them up on their sides will damage them
- In the unfortunate even that you do have some damages on your delivery, you need to call us as soon as possible, and sign the drivers paper work as ‘damaged’, if there are a lot of damages you may want to refuse the delivery, please give a call on 0845 0942751 before you do this though so that we can arrange for replacements to get to you in a speedy manor.
